SEO does not need to be intimidating. These fundamentals — done consistently — drive more organic traffic than most agencies charge five figures to implement.

Search engine optimization has a reputation for being complex, ever-changing, and expensive. Some of that is true. But the fundamentals that move 80% of the needle have been consistent for years — and most businesses still get them wrong.
A page ranking for a 1,000-search/month keyword with high transactional intent will generate more revenue than a page ranking for a 50,000/month keyword with purely informational intent. Before targeting any keyword, ask: what does someone typing this actually want to do?
Your H1 should contain your target keyword. Your meta description should be 150-160 characters and include a clear reason to click. Your URL should be short, lowercase, and hyphen-separated. These basics are free and still overlooked on the majority of SMB websites.
One comprehensive 2,000-word post that fully covers a topic will consistently outrank five shallow 400-word posts. Google has been rewarding "helpful content" — content that demonstrates genuine expertise and fully satisfies searcher intent.
“The best SEO strategy is also the best content strategy: write the most useful thing on the internet about your topic.”
